About the Brio Guy

Welcome to brioguy- a Blog that helps bloggers keep up to date on all the exclusive events in the world. Dec. 7, 2008

My name is M@tt Harrison and im a stay at home consultant making a living by helping others save money and giving opportunities to work at home.

From Hobby to Profession

Back in 2003 I stumbled upon an organization called 4-H which is dedicated to helping youth learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. I primarily got involved only because of my passion for horses, but later found a love for food and nutrition. I fell so much in love with food that I decided to take it one step further and go to college at Le Cordon Bleu. This is where I built my foundation and learned how to become a great chef.

Soon after I graduated I realized unless you are like “Rachel Ray” (from food network) chefs really don’t make the greatest pay.  So I soon started working from home part time and then evolved to full time.

Now I know that there is life beyond a 9-5 job. I know that when I have kids ill be able to go to their baseball game or school recital. Plus on those days when you just feel lazy I can take off and have a pj day. Can you say the same?

Brio Guy’s life story.

In 1987 my parents adopted me from Korea when I was only two months old. It seems like I can not walk into a doughnut shop without the asian people saying shing chang cong. My thoughts exactly WHAT? Just because im asian doesn’t mean that I speak it lol. Back to the story I first lived in Lewisville Kentucky for a few years. One of my earliest childhood memories was when my dad would take me snow tubing. He would pull me on an innertube while Snoopy my little yorkie followed. I remember wanting to go back in and out of the house while my mom trying to be patient taking on and off all my clothes. I think that only lasted about 3 or 4 go arounds though… We later moved to Cedar Hill where we lived for 13 years.  In 7th grade I become homeschooled. I remember my dad saying “Judy (my mom) he’s going to become a vegetable”. (I think most people have a preconceived notion about homeschoolers in that they are Amish and have 20 brothers and sisters.) My dad’s only concern was that I would have no contact with the human world. In a couple of years we moved to Italy to get some land for my horses.
