Doesnt everyone enjoy eating a cookie that just came out of the oven? I mean its soft, chewy, and just melts in your mouth. Not only that, but it makes your house smell like love. Well, or at least thats what I think love would smell like… lol
For the past several weeks I have been staying in Various hotels. At most hotels they have fresh cookies for their guests (well, cookies that they baked that day at least…). There have been a couple of times where I have been lucky and they just came out of the oven.
If your mouth is already watering and you’re wanting a fresh baked cookie, but you don’t want to bake em here’s the solution. Not everyone who reads my articles considers themselves a “betty crocker”.
- Go to the store and buy some premium soft or soft chew cookies (just make sure they are soft and that you like the taste). When you get home put a couple in the microwave for 5-10 sec. If you really want to surprise those unexpected guests put some cookies on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven at 275-300 o for about 5min. It will make your house smell AWESOME!
- If you already have some fresh baked cookies then just put them in the microwave for a few sec.
- Whenever I have unexpected guests I feel like I just have to bake some cookies for them. One of my secrets/tips is whenver I make a batch of cookies ill make a double batch. Take half the batch, put partchment paper on a cookie sheet, scoop the cookie dough in individual portions, and put in the freezer till hard, Once hard put in a zip lock baggie. So the next time you have a guest over just pock some out of your freezer, bake them, and your guest will NEVER know. The best part they think you slaved in the kitchen just for them!
