“If your on a diet, trying to watch your weight, or just want a healthy snack then i have the perfect recipe for you.” I used to make fun of my dad for eating cottage cheese saying “it was for old people”. Now I have developed a taste for that creamy and sometimes sweet stuff called cottage cheese. Sometimes people will eat cottage cheese plain, with fresh fruit, or with jams. I actually like ating them all three ways!
- Cottage cheese (I prefer 2%)
- Dried cranberries or cherries
- Toasted walnuts or pecans
- Ghirardelli chocolate bar
Scoop desired amount of cottage cheese into a bowl. Add your dried fruit, toasted nuts, and shaved chocolate on top. This is the perfect snack to munch on next time you get a sweet tooth.
