13 day’s of halloween recipes Day 1

I know its kind of late to do 13 days of halloween recipes, but my cousin sent these to me and I couldnt resist posting them. I hope you all enjoy them!Slithering sweets

Slithering Sweets
• Prep Time: 20 min.
• Bake Time: 20-25 min.
• Decoration Time: 20 min.
• Difficulty: Easy
• Yield: Makes 2 caterpillars. (24 cupcakes)
• 1 18.25-oz. box yellow cake mix
• 12 strands black or red licorice laces
• 3 cups prepared vanilla icing
• 2 SNICKERS® Brand Miniatures
• Orange food coloring
• 2 12-cup cupcake pans
• 3 cups M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween
• 24 paper cupcake liners
• Spatula
• 1 Large tray (or 12 x 16-inch piece strong cardboard)
• 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the cupcake pans with the paper cupcake liners.
• 2. Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cupcake pans.
• 3. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven, transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely.
• 4. Cut the licorice laces into 2-inch pieces; set aside.
• 5. Tint the icing with the orange food coloring and frost all the cupcakes. Set two cupcakes on the side to use later for the creatures heads. Cover the rest of the cupcakes with M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. Press a 2-inch line of licorice laces on the opposite sides of every cupcake to form the creatures legs.
• 6. Now decorate the two reserved cupcakes. Make a big smile with a line of black M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. Then cover the rest of the cupcake with orange M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. Cut a SNICKERS® Brand FUN SIZE® Bar in half for each creature’s eyes, and use 2 M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween for the pupils. Add two licorice laces for the antennae.
• 7. Then, using the photo as a guide, line the cupcakes into the creature shape on a large platter or piece of strong cardboard.
